Boarding Pass to Mars!
In science we got to put our names on the mars shuttle!
“Eye” see you!
We cannot see without our eye. As some people say: “ The eye is the window to the soul.” Not exactly… The eye is made up of several parts. The pupil which is a hole lets light pass through, the Cornea is a transparent cover that protects dirt/dust from getting into the eye. The iris which is the colored part of your eye; is a muscle that surrounds the pupil preventing too much light getting in. The Sclera is the white part of your eye which also prevents a lot of light coming in. The Vitreous Humor is the clear jelly that keeps the shape of your eye. Without it our eyes would shrivel up. Capillary are the blood vessels in your eye. Eyebrows and lashes prevent sweat and dirt from sliding down into the eye.
To create the image we used our cameras to take the picture and then we went to Pixlr express to label and enhance the photo.
4-PS4-2.Develop a model to describe that light reflecting from objects and entering the eye allows objects to be seen. (This was the introductory activity.)
